Hearing that GOB had been sick from Tino, Ellen had him make sure glasses had been cleaned in the interim and scrubbed the bar down herself. Better safe than sorry, really.

Ellen got to work and with several words to Tino made it plain she wasn't happy about the sling she wore on one arm. Tino wasn't happy either, but he didn't get much of a say.

Ellen got to work in a fairly cheerful mood and managed to maintain it despite Tino's suddenly sullen attitude. For some reason, she was thinking about dogs. Maybe she should get a puppy?

In any case, she opened the bar for the night and spent a good bit of time mentally listing the reasons she probably shouldn't.

Ellen got the bar set up, then opened it. She was totally not late or anything.

Ellen had used some of the leftover melted chocolate gnomes to make chocolate milk in a nostalgia-induced pique, which she had then thoroughly enjoyed before opening the bar for the night.

Tino had a glass as well, but added a liberal dose of rum. Ellen was not impressed.

Ellen had so not been on the mainland last night. Seriously, why would she be? She just hadn't slept well, is all. And if she'd been late, there would be a much better reason than anything having to do with being busy reading.

When Ellen got to the bar, Tino and the zombies were removing the last pieces of wood from what looked like some sort of construction project.

She wasn't sure she wanted to know, so she let them continue to un-tier the stage and went to unlock the front doors.

Fraser's waiting just inside the door of the restaurant, trying to look as a suave as possible. Of course, if you know Fraser, you know that's not very suave at all. Ellen came into work and found, to her morbid amusement, that the female zombie had decided to become an undead fashion plate in the style of Stevie Nicks. The blonde wig alone looked like it had been used to mop a butcher's floor.

Ellen told herself she was not going to request Landslide. Tusk might be doable though.
